Supporting system reliability in a renewable‑led energy mix

As renewable electricity generation continues to grow across Europe, power systems require increasing levels of flexibility to remain secure and stable. Wind and solar production are variable by nature and must be complemented by assets that can respond quickly to changes in demand and supply.
TTEP’s flexible generation assets and battery storage solutions play a critical role in this context. They provide dispatchable capacity when renewable output is low, support grid balancing, and contribute to security of supply in key European markets.

A multi‑market platform built for flexibility

Operating across several European countries allows TTEP to combine local market expertise with a shared operational and development platform. Assets are managed close to the systems they serve, while benefiting from consistent standards in safety, reliability and performance.
TTEP’s portfolio is designed to adapt to evolving market conditions and regulatory frameworks, supporting both short‑term system needs and long‑term energy transition objectives.

Delivered through an industrial partnership

TTEP combines the operational expertise of EPH in flexible power generation with TotalEnergies’ integrated energy approach and development capabilities. This partnership underpins disciplined asset management, continued investment in flexibility and storage, and a long‑term commitment to reliable power supply in Europe.

About EPH

EPH (Energetický a průmyslový holding) is one of Europe’s largest privately owned energy groups, operating a vertically integrated portfolio of energy infrastructure and flexible power generation across Western and Central Europe.
The Group focuses on gas transmission and distribution, gas storage, heat infrastructure and power generation, with a substantial share of activities in regulated, quasi‑regulated, contracted or hedged segments.
EPH contributes to Europe’s energy transition by phasing out coal, expanding low‑ and zero‑emission generation, adapting gas networks for green gases and investing in new generation and storage capacities.

About TotalEnergies

TotalEnergies is a global integrated energy company that produces and markets energy: oil and biofuels, natural gas, biogas and low‑carbon hydrogen, renewables and electricity.
With more than 100,000 employees and operations in about 120 countries, TotalEnergies aims to provide energy that is more reliable, more affordable and more sustainable, placing sustainability at the heart of its strategy, projects and operations.
TotalEnergies is building a competitive portfolio that combines renewables (solar, onshore wind, offshore wind) and flexible assets (CCGT, storage) to deliver clean firm power to its customers.
At the beginning of 2026, TotalEnergies has more than 34 GW of gross renewable power generation capacity and aims to achieve over 100 TWh of net electricity production by 2030.
